A workshop to help community advocates around the state learn how to evaluate their town’s Long Term Control Plan and develop comments for submission to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection and Philadelphia Water Department, working under legal consent orders, have implemented green infrastructure programs to address CSOs while also providing additional benefits to the community that fall outside of the CSO policy framework (e.g., green jobs). The panelists will discuss the challenges of launching innovative programs and their lessons learned to address community needs while meeting regulatory mandates.

Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority will be providing an update on the CSO LTCP.

The COVID-19 outbreak has highlighted many challenges the water sector has been facing for years and has emphasized just how essential clean, safe, affordable water; water and wastewater utility workers; and reliable infrastructure are to public health. 
For the first time, JWW will host its annual Membership Meeting in a virtual format. 

Presenters from GreenPrint Partners and the Philadelphia Water Department will focus on the initial questions that municipalities and utilities should ask internally when thinking about starting a GI program, cover how these questions guide the type and design of a GI program, and discuss different strategies for funding and financing these efforts.
